About me

Voice, music, and the human spirit are deeply connected.
I entered the world of musical theatre at the age of eleven. I later studied classical voice at Tokyo University of the Arts and joined the Shiki Theatre Company, one of Japan’s leading professional musical theatre companies, while completing my degree.
During my six years as a professional performer, I appeared in productions including Cats, A Chorus Line, The Phantom of the Opera, and The Lion King. My principal roles included Skimbleshanks in Cats and Paul in A Chorus Line. I also performed as an ensemble member in The Phantom of the Opera and as a hyena dancer in The Lion King.
My years as a performer gave me invaluable professional experience, but they also showed me how easily talented artists can lose their confidence and emotional balance in high-pressure creative environments.
What I do
Vocal Coaching
Science-informed vocal coaching tailored to each performer’s individual instrument, artistic identity, and professional demands. My work combines voice science, vocal function, musical theatre technique, and an understanding of the connection between the voice, body, and mind.
Music Direction
Clear, collaborative, and performer-centered musical direction. I help actors understand not only what musical choices are required, but also how to achieve them in a healthy, specific, and repeatable way.
Piano Accompaniment
Supportive and responsive piano accompaniment for auditions, rehearsals, lessons, workshops, and musical theatre development.
